||A worthless penny for a priceless vase...
I recently read the book, “Full Surrender” by J. Edwin Orr. It is an older book, copyright 1951, but it carries a very relevant word for our generation. The overall theme of the book, is just as the title suggests, “surrendering yourself fully to Jesus”. Within this theme, Orr picks out specific subjects to write about.
At the end of the book, Orr shares with the reader...

PAINTBALL POSTPONED!
Hey All,
Well, this comes with a heavy heart and a very sad face. I regret to inform everyone that our Paintball Extravaganza, that was schedules for tomorrow, will be postponed. Unfortunately one element that we needed cooperation from is not cooperating with us, that element being, the weather. Tomorrow’s forecast is rain, rain, and more rain.
However, because of these circumstances,...

||No Revive This Sunday...
Hey All,
I hope that you are well, I know it is hard after reading the headline.
We are not having Revive this Sunday because of a tradition that enraptures the hearts and minds of this great nation, The Super Bowl. Yes, get ready for crazy tackles and even gnarlier commercials. Therefore, we won’t be meeting this Sunday, but we will see you the next, Feb. 13.
Peace,
David

Silver and Gold and the Power of God - Acts 3:1-12 →
“It is not the worst thing to say, ‘Silver and gold we do not have’. The worst thing to say is, ‘The power of God we do not have’.” This was a quote from this Sunday’s message by Pastor David Guzik.
Find out how those seemingly terrible words proved to be a blessing in disguise for a lame man. Be blessed.

Where Christmas Began... →
In this sermon, Pastor Dave investigates where Christmas actually began. In this culture, we tend to think that Christmas begins when all the stores start playing Christmas music and the sales go from 30% off to 50% off. Or we can think that Christmas began at the birth of Christ, in that musty, dirty, and dingy stable with a babe lying in a manger. But, they truth is that Christmas doesn’t...
Acts 2:4-15 "To Speak with Other Tongues" →
This past weekend, Pastor Dave Guzik spoke on Acts 2:4-15. It is the text that deals with Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the church and there was the sound like rushing wind, the appearance of tongues like fire, and the speaking in tongues. Each of these things is a bit confusing, especially the last, speaking in tongues. In this sermon, Pastor Dave deals with this issue. If you...

||Who is God?
In the world today, it seems like many, many people are asking this question. The problem though is that this question tends to lead them to a god contrary to the God of the Bible. Therefore, I have been studying some things that reveal the true nature of the God of the Bible and in my studying, I found this article that, I think, does a great job summarizing (because it is such a big topic) the...
